  • Business Block of Production

The new Business Block will be formed from four office buildings on the site historically occupied by the plant’s management and administrative offices. The buildings will be linked by road and transport infrastructure as well as public spaces, creating comfortable conditions for employees to relax, meet colleagues, and socialize.

  • Landscaping the Business Block

The landscaping concept for the Business Block completely rethinks the open-air environment, introducing infrastructure for healthy and active leisure. Each designated zone has its own unique identity, for instance, an aromatic herb garden (an “apothecary garden”) will appear near the clinic, while the park area will feature table tennis facilities. Between the buildings, pocket parks and sports grounds will be created. Engineering communications will be hidden behind decorative screens.

  • Transport System

Architects revised both transport and pedestrian schemes, prioritizing safety and comfort for pedestrians. Roadways will be narrowed, while safety islands will be added.

  • Research and Development Center

The full-cycle Research and Development Center will become a leading scientific institute in Russia’s oil and gas chemical industry. Created as part of the SIBUR Business Block project in Kazan, the R&D Center will be one of its key facilities. The technological design envisages two interconnected buildings with a total area of over 18,000 sq.m., of which 10,000 sq.m. will be dedicated to laboratories and pilot plants.

  • Modular Organization

The modular layout allows configuration of more than 30 laboratories for simultaneous work on parallel projects, including collaborations with academic and industrial partners. Over 300 employees will work in the complex, enabling full-cycle development for current and future industry needs. The Center will also include 6 training laboratories, classrooms, and co-working areas for educational and career guidance programs for schoolchildren.

  • Corporate Principles in Space

SIBUR’s core values are embedded in the spatial design. Open layouts, coffee points, and collaborative areas encourage communication and teamwork.

  • Congress Center

The new Building 1030A of Kazanorgsintez has a circular volume with a projecting rectangular entrance. Designed as a conference and meeting space for employees of existing facilities, the two-storey building includes:

Ground floor: a double-height conference hall for 350 people, transformable into 5 smaller halls for lectures and exhibitions.

    Second floor: technical facilities.

  • Media Façade

The building will feature a dynamic media façade created with LED tubes integrated into panel edges. These allow animated abstract visuals to be displayed across the façade — from flag colors and corporate branding to ornamental patterns.

  • Landscaping the Industrial Zone

Beyond the Business Block, the architects also developed landscaping concepts and new façades for the administrative and service areas of Kazanorgsintez’s production zone. This large-scale territory was given design guidelines for typical spaces, including recreational areas, and a modern, safe transport hub at the entrance to the Business Block.
